Justin Bieber Schedules Live Stream Instead of Attending The Grammy

After not getting nominated for not one Grammy award this year, singer Justin Bieber is left feeling a little slighted. Instead of gracing the award show any way, Bieber has decided to skip it this year and put on his own show via video stream.

With so many fans world-wide, many are wondering if Bieber’s video stream will hurt the award shows viewership tonight. The stream is scheduled during the same time the award show airs on CBS and will feature new music and a Q&A session. I’m not sure how Bieber fans can deny such an event.

Will CBS suffer tonight? It’s hard to say but I am sure the Grammy Show got Bieber’s hint and we will see the young star next year.

Lil Mama Set To Play Lisa ‘Left Eye’ Lopes in Biopic

 We haven’t heard many lyrics from rapper Lil Mama lately but we will see her on TV in the near future. No, I am not talking America’s Best Dance Crew but a TLC biopic.

23 year-old Naitia ‘Lil Mama’ Kirkland, has officially been cast as Lisa ‘Left Eye’ Lopes, the fallen member of the legendary R&B girl group TLC in a VH1 biopic. The biopic is currently in pre-production but there is no release date as of yet.

Rap legend MC Lyte couldn’t keep the secret in and spoke with reporters about the film while on the red carpet for the VIBE Impact Awards. “I don’t know if I’m supposed to say, but I will,” she said to reporters. “She just got the role of Left Eye in TLC’s new movie.” MC Lyte also revealed that her and the young rapper are working on  an upcoming female rappers’ collaboration record.

Looks like 2013 will be a big year for Lil Mama!

Larenz Tate Directs NEW Melanie Fiona Video + Official Video

 

Nominated for a Grammy award tonight, Melanie Fiona’s “Wrong Side of a Love Song” called on actor Larenz Tate to direct the highly anticipated music video. A fan-favorite from her sophomore album The MF Life, the video gave Melanie the chance to try her hand at acting and I am sure her talented director had a lot to do with that. While she isn’t performing, attending award shows and shooting videos, Melanie Fiona is working on her third album which is expected to be her strongest body of work according to recent interviews.

Wendy Williams & Husband Launch Production Company

The Hollywood Reporter confirmed Wendy Williams and her husband/ manager Kevin Hunter have launched their very own Production company. Wendy Williams Productions is set to produce reality, game and talk shows for cable and broadcast channels.

“This is a dream come true,” Williams said. “Kevin and I have been kicking around so many ideas and are excited to be able to now bring them to life with our own production shingle. As anyone who watches my show knows, I am a huge fan of all reality and game shows, and I know a thing or two about talk. Lisa has spent a career creating and producing the kind of television shows I love, and we are thrilled to have her guide our development efforts. Beyoncé Hold Press Conference + NFL Players Talk Beyoncé With NFL.COM (Singing Included)

After singing the National Anthem live, Beyoncé held a press conference to clear up some things and answer some questions from the media. During the press conference Q&A portion, the 31-year-old singer confirmed that she did lip sync during her Inauguration performance but she will most definitely be performing live during this Sunday’s Super Bowl. She briefly spoke about her daughter and her HBO special but politely passed over questions about a Destiny’s Child reunion and her pick for a Super Bowl champion. Watch a clip below.

Well it looks like the  fans aren’t the only ones excited about this Sunday’s halftime performance. Beyoncé has some admirers on the field as well and they sat down with NFL.com to talk this year’s Super Bowl super star performer.   A video of the  players was posted and with respect to Jay-Z, the players gushed about B and their favorite songs. A couple of the players even sing! Such a cute video!

Beyoncé Launches New Fragrance Pulse NYC With Campaign Ad + BTS Video

Seems like Beyoncé is making headlines just about every other day now. With all the Inauguration and Super Bowl buzz, the Baddie Bey craze is at an all time high and she is riding the wave.

Fans of Beyoncé eat up just about anything she does. At this point, I am pretty sure can’t do any wrong in her fans eyes so they are always asking for more. And more they get.  Beyoncé just released an ad for her fifth fragrance, Pulse NYC and it’s New York glamour.

“I thought that now that I am a New Yorker and I’ve learned about how I can accomplish anything in this city, I felt it was an appropriate energy for the new fragrance,” she says in a behind-the-scenes video for the ad shoot. Watch the BTS video below.

Alicia Keys Named BlackBerry’s New Global Creative Director

Recently, the Girl On Fire singer Alicia Keys announced she was  joining BlackBerry as their new Global Creative Director. Keys was hired to work closely with app developers, content creators, retailers, carriers and the entertainment community to help assist with the new BlackBerry 10 platform.

“I find that in my life a majority of people may consider one phone a play phone and they consider a BlackBerry a work phone,” Keys says. “I think that there is an incredible opportunity to bridge that gap. We can create one device that allows you to do everything. So those things that you might consider play you can still be able to do on your BlackBerry 10. And those things that you consider work you obviously do at the highest efficiency on the BlackBerry 10.”

BlackBerry seemed like a dying breed but I guess they had something in the works all along. Lets see if the new BlackBerry 10 Platform and A. Keys will revive the brand.

Marcel Henson Models For SquareBear Clothing

In a recent interview with Jimmy Fallon, actress Taraji P. Henson told the late night talk show host that she was making her  18-year-old son Marcel Henson sit out of college his first semester so he could learn the value of finding a job in the real world. Marcel is quickly showing his mom that regardless of his privileged life, he can hustle up a job.

Marcel Henson landed a campaign deal with California-based clothing line SquareBear. His actress mommy was super proud and tweeted to her followers:

Babyface’s Daughter Peyton Edmonds For GUESS Kids

Babyface’s little cutie Peyton Edmonds is the newest face for GUESS Kids Spring 2013 campaign. The 4-year-old model posed alongside Anna Nicole Smith’s daughter Dannielynn Birkhead giving us this Spring’s must-haves. The kiddies were photographed by Elliston Lutz on the beaches of Malibu. They were dressed in colorful denim, vest and skirts.

The first photos were released just a couple of days ago but the campaign ads are already turning up in magazines. Got to love spring photos in the cold winter. That is the beauty of advertising.

Keyshia Kaoir of KA’OIR Cosmetics honored America’s favorite colors for her “THE AMERICAN DREAM” campaign. Rapper Trina and G.O.O.D. Music’s First Lady Teyana Taylor joined Keyshia on set rocking red, white and blue lips.

KA’OIR cosmetics photo shoots always pop…with color, of course! The brand does a really good job combining simple and bold. Not sure if that makes sense but that is what is intriguing about the brand.
