Beyoncé Launches New Fragrance Pulse NYC With Campaign Ad + BTS Video

Seems like Beyoncé is making headlines just about every other day now. With all the Inauguration and Super Bowl buzz, the Baddie Bey craze is at an all time high and she is riding the wave.

Fans of Beyoncé eat up just about anything she does. At this point, I am pretty sure can’t do any wrong in her fans eyes so they are always asking for more. And more they get.  Beyoncé just released an ad for her fifth fragrance, Pulse NYC and it’s New York glamour.

“I thought that now that I am a New Yorker and I’ve learned about how I can accomplish anything in this city, I felt it was an appropriate energy for the new fragrance,” she says in a behind-the-scenes video for the ad shoot. Watch the BTS video below.

Alicia Keys Named BlackBerry’s New Global Creative Director

Recently, the Girl On Fire singer Alicia Keys announced she was  joining BlackBerry as their new Global Creative Director. Keys was hired to work closely with app developers, content creators, retailers, carriers and the entertainment community to help assist with the new BlackBerry 10 platform.

“I find that in my life a majority of people may consider one phone a play phone and they consider a BlackBerry a work phone,” Keys says. “I think that there is an incredible opportunity to bridge that gap. We can create one device that allows you to do everything. So those things that you might consider play you can still be able to do on your BlackBerry 10. And those things that you consider work you obviously do at the highest efficiency on the BlackBerry 10.”

BlackBerry seemed like a dying breed but I guess they had something in the works all along. Lets see if the new BlackBerry 10 Platform and A. Keys will revive the brand.

Season 8 Bad Girl turned designer  Elease Donovan is going full force with her swimsuit line, Elease Donovan Swimwear. After a successful Spring 2012 launch, beach bombshells have been waiting for the new line. Recently, Elease announced the new swimsuits were in and gave us a sneak peak into the photo shoot via Instagram. Beyoncé Reunites With Pepsi For $50 Million Dollar Deal

Beyoncé first linked up with Pepsi back in 2001 and now the two powerhouses have reunited for what has been reported as a $50 million dollar deal. Not only does the deal include  Limited Edition Series cans but album promotion, concerts, videos and creative advertising. “Pepsi embraces creativity and understands that artists evolve,” said Beyoncé . She continued, “As a businesswoman, this allows me to work with a lifestyle brand with no compromise and without sacrificing my creativity.”

Parkwood Entertainment general manager Lee Anne Callahan-Longo  revealed to the NY Times, “It’s wise for a brand like Pepsi to give an artist the ability to truly express herself, instead of just the old-school way of, ‘Do you want to be in an advertisement?’ This is much bigger.  This is, ‘How can we create something together that is truly unique?’ ”

Predictions are that the big Pepsi/Beyoncé explosion will happen around the time of her 2013 Superbowl performance. Look out for a commercial and rumored new music around that time.

Draya Michele Talks Fine Ass Girls Launch With Vh1

At the Basketball Wives L.A. reunion show, Vh1 spoke with Draya Michele about the launch of her new clothing line Fine Ass Girls, a line for ladies who are “stylish, classy, beautiful and educated.”

I just wanted to start something that could motivate girls. It’s like a confidence booster. I’m lucky enough to hang around really good people, I have really amazing friends, and they’re also really beautiful and we take a lot of pride in looking how we look. We’re just trying to be all-around good people, so it’s just a movement for empowerment.

Draya is still riding the waves from the success of her Mint Swimwear Collection but thanks to the built up anticipation for Fine Ass Girls, I think she is more than ready to release her new fashion to the world. Nicki Minaj is adding a new shade of color to her signature look. MAC Viva Glam helped Nicki brand her pink lips with Pink Friday lipstick and now the partnership is taking it purple.

MAC  and Nicki Minaj just unveiled her new lavender lip color for her solo Mac Viva Glam campaign. Who ever thought Nicki would trade in her signature pink for a shade of purple?  I didn’t see that coming but it’s a good way to keep us on our toes.  MAC announced the news this morning on Twitter:
