Jay-Z and his wife Beyonce took a break from Miami’s Art Basel festivities to enjoy the night life. Last Sunday (December 9th), Jay celebrated the launch of D’USSÉ, a “bold new expression of cognac”, at Liv nightclub. Some of the industry’s brightest including Fabolous, The Dream, Kelly Rowland, DJ Clue, Don P, Pusha T and Teyana Taylor were in attendance.  All Gold Everything rapper Trinidad James hit the stage for a performance.

Jay-Z Goes Commerical

Jay-Z is considered a very notable investor. Adding to his list of investments is Duracell’s Powermat. Jay-Z is not only putting up funds but popping up in the Powermat’s ads.

Budweiser & Jay-Z’s “Made In America” concert is right around the corner and a new commercial was unveiled for those highly anticipating the music festival. The entire commercial is narrated by Mr. Carter himself.

VS Fashion Show Recap: Nicki Minaj, Kanye West & Jay-Z

Wednesday evening, the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show aired on CBS with no shortage of sparkle, pink and angel wings. Nicki Minaj pranced up and down the extremely long runway performing her hit single “Super Bass”. Just in case you missed it, watch the performance below.

Kanye West also performed at the Fashion Show but first explained how he was supposed to perform “Stronger” in 2007 before his mother passed. After his slight throwback performance he surprised the audience by bringing out his other half, Jay-Z. The power duo performed “Paris” to a standing crowd. Watch both performances below.

Beyonce’s Baby Bump Breaks Twitter Record

During the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards, Beyonce announced her pregnancy. The twitterverse went crazy and set a new record for the popular social network.

@twitterglobalpr   announced an astonishing 8,868 Tweets per second about the baby news. The new record beat out the news of Osama bin Laden’s death. Kind of crazy but not too surprising.
