Miguel released a visual for his newest hit single, “Quickie”. I had the pleasure of hearing this song years ago when Miguel’s management team was still figuring out his image. I am glad to see they are letting him be him. For some reason, I get the feeling that Miguel is in charge of his style and if he is not steering his own career than he is at least in the front seat. He has come a long way and is being received extremely well.

Crystal Harris, Hugh Hefner’s ex-fiance who abruptly called off their very public engagement, recently appeared on the Howard Stern Show as a guest. Hefner’s bedroom work has always been a bit of a mystery but what has been kept in the dark for what seems like forever, Harris brought to light.
The World knows Hefner as the ultimate Playboy. He always has a team of girlfriends which may lead us to assume that it’s always a party in his bedroom. Harris is leading us to think otherwise. The things Harris said on the Howard Stern Show ruins Hefner’s image…for me, at least. The world likes to think of Hef as the MAN but Crystal Harris kind of killed that notion.

Black Rob has been off the scene since his days as a Bad Boy artist. He pretty much was HOT and then he was NOT after an arrest. Though having criminal issues, I have a feeling his sunken career was not just the fault of his own but that of his label. Diddy knows how to pick them but that’s about it. Hey Diddy, there is still work for you after signing an artist. Diddy may just be Diddy’s most successful artist.
Black Rob talks Bad Boy and recent broken promises with AllHipHop.com below.
We should be seeing new material from Black Rob soon.
An Old Navy commercial which aired on February 2011 features a women who closely resembles Kim K. Kim’s lawsuit says consumers may be confused by the ads and her actual endorsement. Her lawsuit is seeking unspecified damages and wants a federal judge to prevent Old Navy from using a Kardashian lookalike model in its ads again.
The model in the ad but not named in lawsuit is Melissa Molinaro. If you don’t really follow reality television, you may not be too familiar with Molinaro. She appeared on Making the Band 3 & Pussycat Dolls Present: The Search for the Next Doll. She is also in the middle of recording an album. Kim Kardashian just initiated a lawsuit while Melissa Molinaro is getting a ton of free publicity!

Diageo, a company that partnered with Diddy for Ciroc Vodka has recently added Pharrell Williams to their list of celebrity partnerships. Recently, Pharrell debuted Qream with a Q, a vodka based cream liqueur. The line of liqueur is a surprising addition to his past and current lifestyle ventures which include A Bathing Ape, Billionaire Boys Club and Ice Cream Footwear.
The liqueur is being described as the “first-of-its-kind” with its target being women which is a different demographic for Pharrell as his usual target audience are men. Why target women? Pharrell explains why women are the inspiration behind Qream,”When we looked at the market, there were all these alcohol brands that use women in their ads but nothing specifically for them,” Pharrell continued. “That’s what we created Qream for. We’re bringing indulgence back to the ladies.” The two flavors; strawberry and peach can be served chilled or baked into pastries. The possibilities are stated to be endless. Can’t wait to taste!
Pharrell hosted both east and west coast parties to launch his newest business venture. Lauren, NecoleBitchie.com correspondent got details on Qream with a Q straight from the creators mouth. Watch below.

Over the weekend, I had the pleasure of volunteering for Philadelphia’s Global Fusion Festival. In between banding V.I.P Guest and manning the press box (more like assisting), I managed to take a few pictures with my handy Iphone and I do mean a few. Unfortunately, I didn’t capture half of the festival’s essence.
For 8 hours, a diverse group of communities convened at the beautiful Penn’s Landing Great Plaza for a taste of Philly, deeply rooted art and fashion, cultural performers and music’s hottest artist. Anthony David, Brenda K. Starr, J-King y Maximan, OCD: Moosh & Twist and Shurwayne Winchester rocked the stage for the Festival’s Carnival theme. Major recording artists Meek Mill, Maino, Estelle and Melanie Fiona were an extra special treat for the crowd.
While manning the press box, I was front row for Melanie Fiona’s performance. As soon as she hit the stage, I was paralyzed by how beautiful she was but within the first note she sung her voice stole my heart. Today, we don’t have a plethora of GOOD singers so when you hear a voice that deserved to be signed it is undeniable. Melanie gave a performance which all artist strive for. It was raw and didn’t seem super rehearsed. She truly connected with the crowed. I was a fan before but now I can say she is easily one of my favorite singers. Check out some videos that surfaced the net over the weekend.
“This Time” – Off her new album MF Life

“It Kills Me”
Overall, the festival made for a perfect Saturday. If you missed it this year, I’m begging you not to miss it next year!
The nation’s best-selling coconut water, VITA COCO announced that Rihanna will be featured in the company’s summer ad campaign which will be seen around the world.
Rihanna is a natural fit for the Vita Coco brand and I’m so happy to have her on the team,” said Madonna, an investor in the beverage brand. Rihanna also feels it is a good fit for her. “I love Vita Coco! It’s real coconut water from hand-picked coconuts. It’s delicious and so good for you!” says Rihanna.
Honestly, I hate coconuts but these ads and the press behind them make me want to at least give it try…like one sip.
