Rihanna Opens Up in Rolling Stone Magazine

On the April cover of Rolling Stone Magazine, you can find pop diva, Rihanna with spicy red hair, model 101 chin on shoulder pose, and barely there short shorts. The singer opens up about Chris Brown and her sex life…juicy.

Lifting the restraining order:

“That’s my decision. It doesn’t mean we’re gonna make up, or even talk again. It just means I didn’t want to object to the judge. We don’t have to talk ever again in my life. I just didn’t want to make it more difficult for him professionally. What he did was a personal thing – it had nothing to do with his career. Saying he has to be a hundred feet away from me, he can’t perform at awards shows – that definitely made it difficult for him.”

On her single, “S&M”:

“Being submissive in the bedroom is really fun. You get to be a little lady, to have somebody be macho and in charge of your shit. That’s fun to me…I like to be spanked. Being tied up is fun. I like to keep it spontaneous. Sometimes whips and chains can be overly planned – you gotta stop, get the whip from the drawer downstairs. I’d rather have him use his hands.”

I think it’s great when celebrities open up, not completely but just enough to show their fans they are human and can relate to some of the fans’ life experiences. Good for Rihanna for opening up to her fans.

Padded Bikini Tops for the Lil’ Chicks

This summer, Abercrombie Kids designed a bikini top to give the little ones a bit of help. Apparently, pre-teens should have the option to fill-in and push up the boobies.

Abercrombie Kids, a line geared towards kids ages 8 to 14, new spring line includes three bikini top styles, including the Ashley Push Up Triangle, that are all stuffed with padding. It’s safe to say that moms are outraged, and rightfully so.

Though the padded girl’s bikini top is slightly disturbing, I secretly wished Abercrombie would have backed it. Almost every time a brand is under attack, their legs tremble and they fall to their knees.  It may be a little far-fetched, but I would like to see a brand believe in their product enough to stand firm on it.

Abercrombie addressed concerns about the bikini top with a posting on the company’s Facebook page, which read, “We’ve re-categorized the Ashley swimsuit as padded. We agree with those who say it is best ‘suited’ for girls age 12 and older.”

…whatever gets you out the hot seat.

Racy 2K Sports’ Top Spin 4 Ad

Gamer, Rileah Vanderbilt co-stars in a new ad for 2K Sports’ Top Spin 4 along side tennis star, Serena Williams. The ad shows the two competing in slow motion wearing  black form-fitting leotards.

Sex sells and I’m sure all the moaning and grunting will push the sells over the top.  But, who is 2K Sports selling to? Adult men, teenage boys, gullible young girls, mothers looking for a fun activity for her tight-knit family, or simply put…tennis fans. I’m confused who the target audience is. I’m thinking a young audience will be attracted to this game but I am just about sure the parent’s of those youngsters will not want this ad to be what attracts them.

Now that the ad has hit the web and isn’t unanimously receiving thumbs up, 2K Sports is slowing trying to  back away from the project:  “As part of the process for creating marketing campaigns to support our titles, we pursue a variety of creative avenues. This video is not part of the title’s final marketing campaign and its distribution was unauthorized.”

Classic PR move.

Just for the record…personally I love the ad.

Shade or Harmless Fun?

Chris Brown is on a publicity tour before tomorrow’s F.A.M.E release. He recently stopped by the Russ Par Morning Show where he did some Trey Songz and R. Kelly vocal impersonations. I can’t seem to figure out if Chris’ fun was meant to cause harm or simply harmless. Either way, Chris Brown is soaking up all the attention he is receiving now days, good or bad.
