I’m loving this mixtape from Impact Records recording artist and Philadelphia native Jade Alston. Alston’s Single On A Saturday Night is super easy to relate to. Each song chronicles the story and feelings of a newly single woman. As a body of work it is so smooth and truly shows Alston’s talent as an emerging artist. Although she has been compared to the likes of soulful singers Toni Braxton and Anita Baker, her sound is youthful, sexy and fun.

VA native, Audra The Rapper, has been rapping since 14. Now 21 and officially signed to Rick Ross’ Maybach Music Group she is ready to break through.
At the age of 16, Audra won Hip Hop and R&B songwriter of the year in an international VH1 Save the Music Foundation competition. Ever since, the female rapper has generated heavy buzz and quite the East Coast fan base.
After attending college while becoming a high-flying music artist in the Richmond and Hampton Roads area she is more than prepared to assume the role as the first lady of Maybach Music.
Her Pre-Maybach Music mixtape, The Miseducation of Audra, from 2010 is still being downloaded as the world is getting acquainted with her. But, Audra is preparing to release her newest mixtape, No Such Thing Does Exist. For now, Audra has released the first single, “Coo Coo” presented by The Source.

Kanye West and Blogger, Perajok, teamed up to release G.O.O.D Ass Mixtape. The mixtape features many G.O.O.D recording artists such as John Legend, Big Sean, Kid Kuddi, Fonzworth Bentley and Consequence, Amber Rose and more. Sounds like a good team! Listen and download the mixtape below and then let GMPR know what you think.
One of GMPR‘s favorite rapper, Wale, is returning to our speakers with the drop of his new mixtape. More About Nothing is the sequel to his 2008’s The Mixtape About Nothing and drops August 3rd. Although very popular, mixtapes are nothing new but making commercials and promos for your mixtape is. You know how we do it at GMPR…we have to without a doubt give Wale major PR points for the commercials.
