Beyoncé Launches New Fragrance Pulse NYC With Campaign Ad + BTS Video


Seems like Beyoncé is making headlines just about every other day now. With all the Inauguration and Super Bowl buzz, the Baddie Bey craze is at an all time high and she is riding the wave.

Fans of Beyoncé eat up just about anything she does. At this point, I am pretty sure can’t do any wrong in her fans eyes so they are always asking for more. And more they get.  Beyoncé just released an ad for her fifth fragrance, Pulse NYC and it’s New York glamour.

“I thought that now that I am a New Yorker and I’ve learned about how I can accomplish anything in this city, I felt it was an appropriate energy for the new fragrance,” she says in a behind-the-scenes video for the ad shoot. Watch the BTS video below.

Marcel Henson Models For SquareBear Clothing


In a recent interview with Jimmy Fallon, actress Taraji P. Henson told the late night talk show host that she was making her  18-year-old son Marcel Henson sit out of college his first semester so he could learn the value of finding a job in the real world. Marcel is quickly showing his mom that regardless of his privileged life, he can hustle up a job.

Marcel Henson landed a campaign deal with California-based clothing line SquareBear. His actress mommy was super proud and tweeted to her followers:

Babyface’s Daughter Peyton Edmonds For GUESS Kids

D5_Logo_Web_zpsd7ce8843Babyface’s little cutie Peyton Edmonds is the newest face for GUESS Kids Spring 2013 campaign. The 4-year-old model posed alongside Anna Nicole Smith’s daughter Dannielynn Birkhead giving us this Spring’s must-haves. The kiddies were photographed by Elliston Lutz on the beaches of Malibu. They were dressed in colorful denim, vest and skirts.

The first photos were released just a couple of days ago but the campaign ads are already turning up in magazines. Got to love spring photos in the cold winter. That is the beauty of advertising.

KA’OIR Cosmetics Shoots “THE AMERICAN DREAM” Campaign


Keyshia Kaoir of KA’OIR Cosmetics honored America’s favorite colors for her “THE AMERICAN DREAM” campaign. Rapper Trina and G.O.O.D. Music’s First Lady Teyana Taylor joined Keyshia on set rocking red, white and blue lips.

KA’OIR cosmetics photo shoots always pop…with color, of course! The brand does a really good job combining simple and bold. Not sure if that makes sense but that is what is intriguing about the brand.


Evelyn Lozada Goes Naked for PETA


During her birthday bash in LA today, Basketball Wives Miami star Evelyn Lozada unveiled what everyone is calling a “cheeky” campaign ad for PETA. Evelyn’s winter themed I’d Rather Go Naked Than Wear Fur Rather campaign was shot by photographer, Drexina Nelson.

When Lozada sat down with PETA she explained that after watching footage of animals being tortured for fashion she was persuaded to bare it all for the campaign and be a voice for the animals. “You can verbalize what happens to these animals a thousand times, but when you see it, it definitely clicks in… and it did for me,” said Lozada.

Lozada definitely seems to be keeping her self busy after her messy quickie marriage. On top of being the new celebrity fitness blogger for, she is filming the fifth season of her reality show. Her PETA partnership will featured on the show which will air this Spring.

Beyoncé Reunites With Pepsi For $50 Million Dollar Deal

Beyonce For PepsiBeyoncé first linked up with Pepsi back in 2001 and now the two powerhouses have reunited for what has been reported as a $50 million dollar deal. Not only does the deal include  Limited Edition Series cans but album promotion, concerts, videos and creative advertising. “Pepsi embraces creativity and understands that artists evolve,” said Beyoncé . She continued, “As a businesswoman, this allows me to work with a lifestyle brand with no compromise and without sacrificing my creativity.”

Parkwood Entertainment general manager Lee Anne Callahan-Longo  revealed to the NY Times, “It’s wise for a brand like Pepsi to give an artist the ability to truly express herself, instead of just the old-school way of, ‘Do you want to be in an advertisement?’ This is much bigger.  This is, ‘How can we create something together that is truly unique?’ ”

Predictions are that the big Pepsi/Beyoncé explosion will happen around the time of her 2013 Superbowl performance. Look out for a commercial and rumored new music around that time.

Nicki Minaj Unveils NEW Lavender Lip Color For MAC

Nicki Minaj is adding a new shade of color to her signature look. MAC Viva Glam helped Nicki brand her pink lips with Pink Friday lipstick and now the partnership is taking it purple.

MAC  and Nicki Minaj just unveiled her new lavender lip color for her solo Mac Viva Glam campaign. Who ever thought Nicki would trade in her signature pink for a shade of purple?  I didn’t see that coming but it’s a good way to keep us on our toes.  MAC announced the news this morning on Twitter:

The lavender shade will hit stores in February. I’m sure hit will fly off the MAC counter just like everything else Nicki puts her name on.


Rihanna Directs River Island Campaign Shoot


The Unapologetic singer Rihanna recently announced that she would be partnering with British retailer River Island to design a Spring/Summer 2013 collection called Rihanna For River Island.  Today, bad girl Ri Ri gave us a sneak peek into the campaign shoot that she directed. The campaign was shot by Mario Sorrenti at Milk Studios in Los Angeles. British model Jourdan Dunn, Australian model Stef Bambi and Sudanese-American model Ataui Deng were featured in the shoot.  She tweeted:

Wendy Williams Goes Naked for PETA & Gives Up Furs

Talk show host and gossip queen Wendy Williams took it all off for PETA‘s popular ‘I’d Rather Go Naked Than Wear Fur’ campaign.  Wendy admits she used to rock minx and fox fur but had a change of heart after seeing how cruel the animals were treated. “We should all try to be comfortable in our own skin and let animals keep theirs,” says Wendy. Wendy unveiled her ‘I’d Rather Go Naked Than Wear Fur’ Winter campaign in Times Square on Wednesday (November 28,2012).

In addition to the photos, Wendy and PETA are encouraging fur coat owners to donate them to the organization, who will then give them to homeless people.  PETA is working with shelters in Wendy’s home state of New Jersey for winter coat drives which is extra special since so many lost everything due to Hurricane Sandy.Check out some behind the scenes footage below.

“Beats By Dre”  shares their latest #ShowYourColor ad campaign. King James, Skylar Grey, Tunechi, Double Chainz, Azealia Banks, MGK and all make a colorful appearance in the commercial along with 10 contest winners selected by Dr. Dre. The commercial featured’s newest track with Britney Spears, “Scream & Shout”. The “Beats By Dre” brand is one to watch and is truly setting a unique tone for viral marketing. It’s cool to watch.
